BACH STUDENT TRUMPETS

Walked past the Rink this day and didn't take any photos. Past groups of young parents with their 5-7 yr old sons(age?) walking to the rink with their hockey gear ( young lads carrying hockey sticks bigger than themselves). As I ascended the hill departing for my destination ( Metropolitan Museum of Art), the loudspeaker started playing Mason Williams' "Classical Gas". I stopped and thought whether viewing that 4 decades earlier on the Smother's Brothers show ( what I've always thought of as the original music video) left subliminal messages in my head which was why I was heading for where I was heading...(grin). Took this picture to remind me of the moment.

Sometimes you're driving and you see something that causes you to brake hard, screech your tires and stop ... I saw the scene in this picture from the road and just had to stop. It's the Classical Gas Museum in Embudo, NM. The guy who owns this place has a couple of acres filled with motoring memorabilia - it's just an amazing place. A photographer could spend hours shooting and not run out of interesting things to look at.
